Just love these colours!  Petal Pink and Pool Party!

Love the scrappy torn look to the Bird Ballad DSP!

Found some 3D flowers, which I use to use all the time in my scrapbooking and cardmaking, so thought Mother's Day was an appropriate time to use them again!

Found also the MEMORIES scrabble tiles .... so cute!

I used the florish out of the Parisian Dies set in Pool Party to tie in the colours!

I've forgotten how pretty the 3D flowers are!

I Can't Thank You Enough - Mother's Day 2020

This is what I say to my Mum all the time ... 'I Can't Thank You Enough'!
It's an appropriate Mother's Day saying.

If you saw my last post I made another Mother's Day card using the Bird Ballad DSP from our soon to finish Annual Cataloge from Stampin' Up!  I've used it again here on this card but used very different colours.
The piece of Bird Ballad DSP matches very well with Pool Party cardstock and just to bring in another colour I've used So Safron cardstock to highlight the circle of DSP from the Subtles 6" x 6" DSP range.
I've gone back to my scrapbooking days and used multi layers on this card.  There is a tag made using the Delightful Tag Topper,  another tag using the Everyday Label, a Pearlised Doily, and the top tag with 'I Can't Thank You Enough' sentiment on it, is the Label Me Lovely Punch!
So many layers!
I've used some old rhinestones from my stash of goodies to create a trail of  bling and found that cute little paper clip!
A Daffodil Delight bow and that's the card!

Magnolia Lane - Happy Birthday

Given that we are all self-isolating at the moment and staying home, I've got time to make some cards and put them up here on my blog!

I understand not all products I've been using are current products through Stampin' Up!, but I'm more concerned about showing you card styles and hope you are interested enough to go to the Stampin' Up! website and have a look at all the fantastic products available!

Going through some of my papers today, I came across the Magnolia Lane DSP, which I haven't really used.

So here you go!

A rather easy card to make but pretty enough to warrant featuring on my blog!

I actually 'fussy cut' the Magnolia flower, which is not my most favorite pastime! I used dimensionals to pop the flower off the Petal Pink circle and again to pop it off the ribbon.

Now Dee let's see how many of these items are current stock!

Bird Ballad - Mother's Day Card - Stampin' Up!

Yes, Mother's Day is just around the corner, so I thought I would put together a few cards for those wanting some ideas.

I've used a few different elements in this card - not all being Stampin' Up! products.

• Cut your card base from Terracotta Tile and then topped with the stripped DSP from Bird Ballad and the check DSP  from the 2019-2021 InColour DSP range.
• Add a piece of Old Olive ribbon over the join of the two pieces of DSP.
• Using a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and one of the fancy Orante Layers Dies cut your centre piece.  Put a few dimensionals on the back of this!
• I've fussy cut a set of three birds from a piece of Bird Ballard DSP and one of the flowers and added dimensionals to the back before adhereing them onto the Daffodil Delight cardstock piece.
• Tie a bow or knot using a piece of Linen Thread and 3 of the Flower Faceted Gems to decorate and finish off the card.
• The words Happy Mother's Day are from Crafts4U Dies, I've had for a long time hanging around from my scrapbooking days.  I've used Old Olive cardstock.

This second card is very similar, I've just used a different piece of DSP from the 2019-2021 InColour DSP range and chosen a single bird for the centre piece. 

Happy Mother's Day is cut from Basic Black cardstock.

Lily Pad - Thank You

So many pretty colours in the Lily Impressions DSP  -  yeah I know it's now finished.  It was featured in our 2020 Sale-a-bration Catalogue which finished on 31 March.

I love die cuts! You could say I've used a few in this card!  I've also used the So Very Vellum which was in the second release of Sale-a-bration.

The stamp set used here is the Label Me Bold, which has some great words and they are just right for this card, as the main feature is the Lily Die cuts.

Isolation is not such a bad thing, it's given me the time to do some crafting!
