Mosaic Mood

I just love this designer series paper by Stampin' Up! from our current Annual Catalogue.  It has so many lovely designs and I've used some of them in the following cards.

It comes as a suite with a stamp set, punch embossing folder, the designer series paper, some pretty flower faceted gems and a textile ribbon in Mint Macaron.  You can purchase the suite as a complete set or separately.

Using the  link on this page, hop over to the annual catalogue and have a look on page 119.

Don't forget to use my November Host Code:  6KCXBN4K, when you want to order.

Here are the items I used in these cards.  Ask me how to order, I'm here to help!

Christmas Countdown Project Kit

Advent Calendar  -  Make and Take

And so we gathered for another crafty day at Gwandalan Guest House!

Well it's what my girlfriends and I call my house when we get together - The Gwandalan Guesthouse!

Today we put together this great advent calendar ... so easy .... all the instructions came with the kit and I only supplied the stamp set 'Christmas Countdown', some ink, adhesive and those little pesty things commonly known as dimensionals!  Oh and some 'bling'!

We had fun following the directions and guidelines, pictures in the kit and then adding our own take on the stamps and embellishments!

Here are some of our finished projects!

100th Birthday

Australian Flowers

Through my local suburb's Facebook page, a friend tagged me into a post which was asking for some help putting together a 100th  birthday card for their friend.

Margaret came over and showed me what she had painted for her friend turning 100!  she had used water colours and it looked fantastic!

I didn't want to spoil any of the flowers she had painted.

I was more than happy to help turn her work into a card!

After a little consideration, as I wanted to keep her paintings as close as possible to her original drawings.

I used some vanilla cardstock as the card base, which I ran through the Subtle Embossing folder and gold cardstock to map the two stand alone flowers.  Trying not to make the card too large, I fussy cut around the other flowers and gumnuts and added them to the third 'side' of the card.

I used the words and numbers from Family Party Stamp Set, which were stamped on vanilla cardstock and mapped in gold cardstock.

Margaret was happy with her birthday card for her friend turning 100!

Cheers!

Blokey Cards

Geared up Garage  -  Retired Guy!

Afternoon all.

Following on from my blog earlier this week, I've managed another male card for you to enjoy!

Again using the DSP from the Classic Garage range (yeah I know it's retired) and this time Tranquil Tide cardstock and the cogs from Garage Gears in 3 different cardstocks - Crushed Curry,  Basic Gray and Tranquil Tide with a little ribbon and black bling!  The sentiment 'All Geared Up to Celebrate' is from the Geared Up Garage stamp set.

You know what .... I'm just going to call this one Retired Guy and be done with it.  I'm not even going to give you the product list!

I hope you enjoy my cards!

Cheers!

We need more male cards!

A friend who has been travelling the eastern coast of NSW over the past few months has taken my cards on the road with him!  I had a huge basket of cards that I had made and wanted to try and sell them  .... who would of thought  .... he has been selling them to people he meets on his travels.  Born salesman!.

So a cry went out this weekend ...we need more male cards!  Why don't we have more male cards?  They are usually the hardest card for me to put together ... but here is my first attempt!

The designer series paper I used - Classic Garage has now retired  ... (wish I could retire!) ... but all the other products you can still purchase!

This card I mapped the DSP in red cardstock to make it pop a little.  This is a fairly basic design, so any DSP you have would work ... just match your cardstock to the colours in the DSP and add some bling!  But in this case 'blokey' bling!

Wrapped in Plaid Christmas Tags

More Tags!

Love making these tags because they are really quick and easy ... like all the others I have shown you here on my blog.

I used the Wrapped in Plaid DSP on a Very Vanilla cardstock.  The Pine Tree punch was handy to punch out the Christmas trees from the Wrapped in Plaid DSP and gold foil paper.   The Season's Greetings sentiment came from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set and I used the smallest of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies to cut out the sentiment.  I made the gold stars using the Stitched Stars Dies and a little bit of gold thread under the pine trees, threaded some gold ribbon through the hole at the top and ... there you have it!

These can be made from your left overs ... so very inexpensive and they are quick to put together.

So gather your supplies and start creating!

Christmas Tags

Brightly Gleaming Suite

My favourite DSP this season!

This morning I finished a few more Christmas tags, because you can never have enough tags for all those gifts at Christmas!

I had made a few of these from the left over pieces that the girls left after a recent Make and Take and  I was so surprised how quickly they came together and how easy they were.

Using Very Vanilla cardstock for the base then topping that with Brightly Gleaming DSP, I created the base.  The sentiment 'Deck the Halls' is stamped in the co-ordinating ink on the Everyday Label, which I topped and tailed with the Night of Navy cardstock for added colour.  A small embellishment on top and a knotted ribbon, finishes off the tag.

So easy to make!  Why not have a go yourself?  Order some products from the catalogues and use my October Host Code  V3P99CPS so I know you have placed an order and are interested in my tags and all the co-ordinating Stampin' Up! products.
